Tom Wilson Plays His 200th Game

While enthusiastic Caps Kid’s Club members were enjoying their special day at Verizon Center, another youngin was reaching a milestone on the ice. Tom Wilson became only the fifth player in Caps franchise history to play 200 NHL games before his 22nd birthday. When he stepped on the ice Sunday against the Flyers, he joined former Caps Bob Carpenter, Scott Stevens, Gaetan Duchesne, and Kevin Hatcher with this achievement.

Wilson, known for his tough hits and 434 penalty minutes in 199 career games, was the player featured by the Caps Kid’s club this season.
