The Noon Number: V-Even Strength

2.48 - Jakub Vrana’s even-strength goals per 60 rate so far this season, second-most in the NHL (min. 100 minutes) behind only Filip Forsberg (2.79). He leads the Caps in points-per-60 at evens with 3.58, just ahead of a couple of high-scoring blueliners in Michal Kempny (3.54) and John Carlson (3.34) and with Evgeny Kuznetsov (3.27) and Alex Ovechkin (3.15) rounding out the team’s top five.

Despite seeing his power-play time increase from just over a minute last season to 1:45/game this year, Vrana has done all of his goal-scoring damage at evens, with an impressive nine goals on his resume so far.
