The New Scoreboard is BEAUTIFUL

The new scoreboard at Capital One Arena is huge, bright, and full of life, with video, graphics and even advertisements that practically compete for attention with play on the ice. We’ll get used to that, I’m sure, but it’s a far cry from, you know, the old days when the scoreboards seemed to be plugged into old Windows 95 machines.

There are also screens in all four corners of the arena, with screens on the back of those, showing the action for those 400-level fans who can’t see very far.

According to The Post’s Scott Allen:

A new center-hung scoreboard, the third in the building’s 22-year history, is the centerpiece of the second phase of renovations.
