The 2014-15 Washington Capitals season is over. While it ended in heart-breaking fashion, the team that Brian MacLellan, and even George McPhee, put together kept our attention and kept us rooting for the entire season, up until that very last shot.
We celebrated another Winter Classic victory at the most festive game I’ve ever attended. We watched them win a Game 7 against the Islanders, ensuring they couldn’t return to play another game at their beloved stadium on Long Island. We watched our superstar, Alex Ovechkin, win yet another goal scoring title.
