Stingrays Score Twice in Final Nine Seconds, But Lose 10th Straight

The South Carolina Stingrays are in the midst of a terrible long streak. Since having their three game series against the Wheeling Nailers that was scheduled for Jan. 22-24, the Stingrays had lost nine straight.

Down 4-0 at Florida, the Stingrays needed a miracle to stop from losing their 10th in a row.

South Carolina scored three straight to cut the lead down to one. They pulled the goalie for an extra attacker, and the Everblades scored the empty netter to sink the Rays comeback.

So it seemed.

The Stingrays then scored two goals in the games final nine seconds to force overtime.
