The South Carolina Stingrays recorded their 1000th franchise win after beating the Orlando Solar Bears, 3-2, in a shootout on Wednesday.
The Stingrays became just the second ECHL franchise to get 1000 wins, with the first being the Wheeling Nailers. The Stingrays are in their 25th ECHL season.
The Stingrays have clinched at least second place in the South Division and have announced their first two playoff games will be April 12 and 14 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
