Morning After: Grounding the Flyers

What an up and down game for the Caps. With the season on the line, they went into a 0-2 hole after the first period after not generating much offense of their own. But after an Alex Ovechkin strike in the second, they turned it on and didn’t let up, scoring five straight goals to take the win.

Throughout the lineup, everyone stepped up and everyone seemed to pitch in, one way or another. Spencer Carbery continues to prove he was the right coach to take the reins, and he has a bright future in the NHL. It’s going to be fun to see what Carbery can do going forward.
