The Washington Capitals’ American Hockey League Affiliate, the Hershey Bears, signed veteran NHL forward Scott Gomez to a Professional Tryout Agreement on Thursday.
The Hershey Bears announced today that they have signed veteran forward Scott Gomez to a PTO. This move provides the Washington Capitals‘ minor league affiliate with loads of experience, and possibly even depth for the big club if they choose to sign him in the event the Caps continue to experience injuries.
Gomez has a very lengthy track record that will benefit some of the Capitals’ younger prospects in Hershey.
