Before tonight’s battle of first place teams, Neal Henderson of the Fort Dupont Ice Arena was honored during the ceremonial puck drop. The local hero was greeted with loud cheers as he was introduced. Henderson was joined on the ice by Tim Thomas, Brian Gionta, and Krissy Wendell, fellow new inductees into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Henderson will be enshrined with the 2019 class at a ceremony held at the Marriott Marquis on December 12th.
