This morning, we visited the Washington Capitals at their first morning skate of the season at Medstar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington VA. The place was packed with happy fans who displayed their excitement for the start of the 2018-2019 hockey season. There, we were able to see backup goalie Pheonix Copley who was very focused listening to the goaltending coach, Scott Murray. This is the second season of coach Murray as the Capital’s goaltending coach, as he had spent the previous four seasons with the Hershey Bears.
