At MGM National Harbor on Monday, Alex Ovechkin, Lars Eller and Tom Wilson sat for a Chalk Talk with Caps writer Mike Vogel, where they spoke on a number of topics.
As the event was wrapping up, Vogel presented them with Challenge Coins on behalf of Staff Sergeant J.D. Ortman of the United States Army, who is a guard at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He is the 650th recipient of the Tomb Badge.
“United States Military personnel trade these amongst each other, in appreciation, for excellence, for a wide variety of things,” Ortman said.
