Fans rocked the blue and yellow Monday night at Verizon Center as the Caps took on the Columbus Blue Jackets. The color change had nothing to do with their opponent, but was in place to honor Swedish Heritage Night and to show support for the Swedish players on the team. The Caps have three players on their roster who hail from Sweden: Marcus Johannson, assistant captain Nicklas Backstrom, and Andre Burakovsky, who was born in Austria and grew up in Sweden.
