Goaltender Braden Holtby has lived up to his nickname for the Capitals this season. HoltBeast, or sometimes just Beast, leads the NHL in wins (36) and is among the league leaders in goals-against average and save percentage. The guy deserves his own action figure and — whaddya know — he got it.
On Friday, the Capitals released photos of the HoltBeast figures that fans will receive at Washington’s game against Minnesota on Feb. 26.
Look at those paws! Holtby’s action figure features a removable helmet and “#HOLTBEAST” across his back, and it’s reminiscent of the Potomac Nationals’ Jayson Werth Wolf-a-rine giveaway from two years ago.
