The last time the Caps were in LA, they had what was probably one of their worst performances of the 2024-25 campaign in a 3-0 loss. Returning to the scene of the crime tonight, the Caps seemed determined to put memories of that last trip out west behind them and instead put together an almost identical game to the last time these two tangled back in DC a few weeks ago. They matched a very defensive-minded LA team with equally tight play, got some opportunistic scoring, and picked up a big win.
