The Caps are in a bit of a rough patch at the moment, with the offense in particular struggling. While they did finally get something on the board tonight, it was just a lone goal – not good enough when you give up two, and certainly not good enough against a tired Isles team in the middle of a losing skid. Now their own streak goes to three losses, with just two goals in those three games.
