The Caps seemed to struggle to find their legs again tonight after a few days off, especially when faced with the speedy, obnoxiously relentless attack of the visiting Hurricanes. That they managed to grab a point is a plus, and they played better toward the end of the game, but they’re probably not going to be happy with that performance overall.
Plus: Some very impressive individual performances from Nic Dowd, Justin Sourdif and Rasmus Sandin.
Minus: Carolina is built around throwing everything at the net and dominating possession, which they did throughout the night.
