The Washington Capitals earned a 2-1 win in shootout fashion on Wednesday night to extend their point streak to 13 games. Brendan Leipsic gave Washington a 1-0 lead with a deflection goal in a first period the Capitals dominated to the tune of a 16-5 shots edge.
