ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have signed center Zach Sill to a one-year, two-way contract, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
Sill, 27, registered four points (one goal, three assists) and 84 penalty minutes in 63 games with Pittsburgh and Toronto last season. The 6’0”, 202-pound center earned his first NHL point with an assist on Jan. 13 against Minnesota and scored his first NHL goal on Jan. 21 against Chicago. Sill made his NHL debut on Nov. 16, 2013, at New Jersey. He has recorded four points (one goal, three assists) and 96 penalty minutes in 83 career NHL games.
