After some inappropriate comments on social media by Brendan Leipsic, the Washington Capitals laid down the hammer.
After Brendan Leipsic had some offensive messages on his Instagram leaked to the public, the Washington Capitals placed him on unconditional waivers for purposes of terminating his contract.
The announcement came on Friday morning after the leaks came out Wednesday night.
Leipsic was a fourth liner brought on last summer but for a fourth liner, he became well talked about among the hockey world.
