The Washington Capitals and the Detroit Red Wings hit the ice at Little Caesar’s Arena this afternoon to complete the second half of a back-to-back home-and-home. Yesterday decidedly did not go Washington’s way, but today featured a Caps team that looked like they were fully present and aware. That earned them the opportunity to take at least one point back home, but Detroit snagged the second point with an OTGWG from Mo Seider.
Plus: After a very poor start yesterday, the Capitals looked much better at the beginning of this game. They got on the board first courtesy of Ethen Frank, and they dominated the first 20 minutes of game play.
