Capitals Re-Sign Shane Gersich

The Washington Capitals announced today that the club has re-signed forward Shane Gersich to a one-year/two-way contract. From the club’s statement on the development:

The Washington Capitals have re-signed forward Shane Gersich to a one-year contract, two-way contract ($700,000/$115,000), with a guaranteed minimum salary of $125,000) senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Gersich, taken in the fifth round of the 2014 Entry Draft (134th overall), is a product of the University of North Dakota program that also produced such Capitals as Dave Christian, Taylor Chorney, Dave Tippett, and T.
