Capitals Re-assign Sill to Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have re-assigned forward Zach Sill to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Sill, 27, scored one goal in 10 games with the Capitals this season. He made his Capitals debut on Dec. 20 against Buffalo and scored his first Capitals goal on Jan. 10 against Ottawa. Sill has registered five points (two goals, three assists) and 98 penalty minutes in 93 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, Toronto and Washington. He was signed by Washington as a free agent on July 16, 2015.
