Who let the dogs out?
The Washington Capitals on Monday celebrated “Caps Canine Night” in cute fashion, with the players entering Capital One Arena before their game against Vegas carrying puppies in their arms.
The effort, presented by the Pedigree Foundation, was to help promote pet adoption, and all the dogs the Capitals players carried are available for adoption through Wolf Trap Animal Rescue of Washington, D.C. The organization is the same one that benefited from the team’s 2022 canine calendar.
