The fourth line center who became a star in Washington last season, Nic Dowd has since made his own podcast with his other linemate Garnet Hathaway. Dowd is more than a hockey player and a podcast recorder though. He’s also a dad.
On Monday morning Nic’s wife Paige posted a video of Nic playing with their baby Louie. Louie was born on New Years Eve at 8:18 p.m. prompting Nic to miss the Capitals contest against the New York Islanders that afternoon to witness the birth of his first child.
Louie was actually expected a month early.
