A five-game road trip gets underway today as the Caps hit the ice in Newark, with the first of back-to-back matinees against the Devils. And after missing practice yesterday, Alex Ovechkin will be in the lineup per Coach Laviolette:

Alex Ovechkin will play today against the Devils, per coach Peter Laviolette, after a maintenance day Friday.
