On Tuesday, the NHL released its monthly three stars. Alex Ovechkin was on this list for the first time this season, as he was named the Second Star of February after potting 12 goals to solidify his place as the favorite for yet another Rocket Richard Trophy.
Ryan Gelzlaf was named First Star, and Filip Forsberg was the Third Star of the month.
