Wake Forest first baseman/pitcher Will Craig was named ACC Baseball Player of the Year by the 14 Atlantic Coast Conference head coaches.
Craig, who was a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American in 2014, greatly improved upon his freshman numbers.Craig finished the season with a .392 batting average ,which was second in the conference. This is up from his .280 batting average in 2014. He also had 13 home runs (up from 8), which was tied for fourth among league leaders. The sophomore slugger finished with a slugging percentage of .720. 20 doubles and 13 home runs in just 186 at-bats will do that.
