The Deacons' stop in Washington DC was short-lived as NC State's Maverick Rowan caught fire in the final 5 minutes to lead the Wolfpack to a 75-72 victory.

Wake Forest's 2015-2016 basketball campaign passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 8th in front of several family members and friends in Washington DC. The Deacs were declining in health over the past two to three months and now face a long off-season in hopes of reincarnation.

Wake was led by freshman point guard Bryant Crawford, who finished with 19 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals and got solid contributions from Devin Thomas and Codi Miller-McIntyre, who ended their final game in a Wake jersey with 12 and 14, respectively.
