The Wake Forest football team will take on the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, September 24th at 3:30 p.m. ET. On Tuesday, the football program released its depth chart for that game. Are there any notable changes?
The obvious change is that John Wolford is listed as the starting quarterback. This comes as no surprise, as Kendall Hinton is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a sprained PCL. Redshirt freshman Kyle Kearns is now the backup quarterback. I would expect true freshman Jamie Newman to dress and possibly play in an emergency situation, but Clawson would have to assess factors such as probability of winning, and the extent of the hypothetical injuries of Kearns and Wolford.
