The Wake Forest football program has had some excellent recruiting momentum over the past several days. Per 247 Sports' Barton Simmons, D.J. Taylor, a 2017 linebacker out of Huntland, Tennessee, has committed to play football at Wake Forest University. He visited Wake this past weekend, and chose Wake Forest over Vanderbilt. Taylor is currently ranked by 247 Sports as the 34th best linebacker in the country, and is a consensus 3-star prospect. D.J. Taylor is the second prospect in the 2017 recruiting class to commit to Wake Forest over the past four days. D.J. Taylor, and Taylor Powell (the player who committed on Saturday) are the two highest-rated prospects in Wake's 2017 recruiting class.
