(AP) - Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has steadily preached ''one game at a time'' all year long. Now, with the season's end in sight, Swinney wants his top-ranked Tigers to embrace the challenges ahead of them with the ultimate goal in reach.
''The biggest thing for us, we've got 18 days left to punch a ticket to the College Football Playoffs,'' Swinney said. ''Let's get dialed in.''
The home stretch for Clemson (10-0, 7-0 ACC) starts Saturday against Wake Forest (3-7, 1-5), which has lost its last four games. The Tigers might not be challenged for a couple of weeks - they face 3-7 South Carolina in the regular-season finale - until the ACC championship game.
