It was a good week for Wake Forest football players named “Cam” as senior tight end Cam Serigne was named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week.
Serigne caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown for Wake Forest in Saturday’s 46-10 win over Utah State. His first quarter 45 yard touchdown catch gave the Demon Deacons a 14-0 lead just 3:21 into the game.
This increased Serigne’s Wake Forest touchdown record for tight ends to 15. He has now caught a touchdown pass in four out of his lsat five games.
