Wake Forest had three players drafted on the final day of the MLB Draft, upping the total number of players this season to four.
Pitchers Parker Dunshee and Chris Farish, alongside second baseman Nate Mondou, were all selected on the final day of the 2016 MLB Draft. The trio were drafted alongside fellow Demon Deacon Will Craig, who went in the first round to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Mondou, a Wake Forest junior, has been drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 13th round. He still has one year of eligibility remaining, so he has until July 15th to decide whether he will sign a professional contract or return to Wake Forest for his senior season.
