The Wake Forest volleyball team is quietly having a promising season, standing at 9-9 with 14 games to go.
Though the team this year is smaller than normal, the three freshmen have definitely played a large role in the success of the Deacons this year. Rachel Burau, Halley Mcfadden and Katie Moore have all stood out in their first season at Wake Forest.
“We have so many tools that are great assets to our team,” said sophomore Caroline Wolf. “We’ve had a tough opening to the ACC season.”
The Deacs’ ACC schedule is just warming up, however, and they’ll need to improve if they want to establish a winning record in the second half of the season.
