Many returning Wake Foresters may have noticed that Kitchin Hall received a make-over this past summer. The hall received updates including vinyl-wood floors and completely renovated bathrooms.
The majority of the project had been completed this past summer, opening room for students choosing to live in substance-free housing, as well as keeping Greek housing for Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and Delta Delta Delta sorority. Later in the spring semester, the other third of Kitchin, adjacent to Wake Forest Road, will be open.
Kitchin was originally built in 1955, and was upgraded due to some of the outdated amenities within the building.
