On Thursday, Sept. 3 in Charlotte, N.C., the Gamecocks of the University of South Carolina beat the Tar Heels of North Carolina 17-13. The game hinged on a 4th and goal for the Tar Heels that was ultimately shut down by the Gamecock defense.
