Well that was awesome. Then it sucked. Then it was almost awesome again. Then sadness. Still, there were far more positives than negatives, and my belief that we're on the right track is only further solidified, despite the disappointment.
The Ups
That Entire First Half. Seriously, that whole first half was the best basketball I've seen out of a Wake squad in a very long time. 48% shooting by Wake, 41% from deep on 12 attempts, and perhaps best of all, a perfect 12-12 from the line. We held Xavier to 30% shooting, 20% It was glorious, the Joel was raucous, and it was just a joyful experience.
