Football player Phil Haynes is a redshirt freshman who started playing on the offensive line this season.
Having little previous experience playing football, his dedication and hard work have earned him a starting position on the team. In the three games he has played in so far this season, he already has had three pancakes — meaning he flattened the defensive lineman to the ground. Haynes is the first person in his family to play a collegiate sport. He is planning on majoring in health and exercise science.
