One day after visiting Wake a second time to take in the Spring Game, 2018 safety Peyton Woulard (Collins Hill HS, Suwanee, GA) verbally committed to the Deacs.
Woulard becomes the sixth member of Clawson’s 2018 recruiting class, and the fifth to commit since March 2nd. He’s the first from beyond the Carolinas, continuing the staff’s strong push for defensive talent out of Georgia (following last year’s haul of Mike Allen, Jeffery Burley, Tyriq Hardimon, Troy Simon, and Jake Simpson).
The three star recruit is the third highest-rated commit in the class, and 247 Sports has him as a top 500 player and the 40th safety nationwide.
