I’m pretty much out of things to say at this point. The Deacs dropped another on the road in the ACC in blowout fashion, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone seeing that we’ve only won 8 ACC road games since 2010. Just typing that depressed me—let’s just get this over with.
As with the last 2 games, this game could basically be summed up in the first possession.
That’s right, everyone’s favorite non Wake Forest player—the guy whose name appears on this site more than any player except maybe Brandon Childress—absolutely dominated the Deacs in the paint to the tune of 20 points on 10/12 shooting (8 of the 10 were dunks) and 12 rebounds for his first career double-double.
