On Monday, Sept. 28 and Tuesday, Sept. 29 the Wake Forest men’s golf program hosted the second annual Primland Collegiate Invitational Golf Tournament at the Primland Resort in Meadows of Dan, Va. which included a field of nine teams: Wake Forest, North Carolina, Auburn, Pepperdine, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Yale, Loyola Maryland and Davidson College.
The tournament was scheduled to be played throughout 54 holes — 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday — however, weather effected the course conditions, causing the event to be shortened to 36 holes. The event finished up Tuesday morning as many teams finished up the back nine on their second round.
