Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, N.C., hosts many talented artists, especially when it comes to indie rock.
On Friday, Sept. 11 Mimicking Birds is bringing their expansive indie folk to Cat’s Cradle.
They are a five piece group from Portland, Ore. The group initially was the project of their frontman, singer, and acoustic guitarist, Nate Lacy, but has since expanded after signing to Glacial Pace Recordings, a record label run by Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse.
Their most recent album, Eons,was released in May of 2014. The music is immersive, and it would be easy to lose oneself inside of it.
