Former Wake Forest standouts Duke Ejiofor and Jessie Bates III have been making the most of their time in the NFL preseason, impressing their coaches and media members around the league.
Bates, who was drafted in the 2nd round by the Bengals, has been praised by head coach Marvin Lewis as a guy who is “gifted and as talented as we expected.” Though he has only recorded 6 total tackles in his 2 games of preseason action, the coaching staff obviously liked what they were seeing from Bates.
