The final week of March produced what Wake Forest fans have gotten used to seeing out of their baseball team, and that’s win and after win. Following a 3-1 week featuring a win over Appalachian State and a series win over Miami in Coral Gables, the Diamond Deacs have moved up to 17th in the Baseball America polls.
Wake Forest currently sits at 21-8 (8-4), and solidly in third place in the Atlantic Division, two games above Florida State, and 2 games below Louisville and Clemson. The Diamond Deacs are solidly in the NCAA Tournament field at this juncture, and are looking to make a run at hosting a Regional if they can keep this kind of play up.
