Deacs face schedule imbalance

Though part of schedule imbalance simply comes from playing in the competitive Atlantic side of the ACC, Wake Forest finds itself playing its final six games against teams who each played in bowl games a year ago. In contrast the Deacs will play just two teams of bowl eligibility in 2014 in the season’s first six games.

I expect the Deacs to use the imbalanced schedule to their benefit, perhaps gaining some confidence in September, which could prove advantageous in October and November. Take a look at a preview of the season’s final six games, illustrating how the Deacs can improve from opponents they may have faced a year ago.
