Sports Illustrated unveiled its top 100 players in college football for 2017 last week and there was a familiar name for Wake Forest fans in defensive end Duke Ejiofor. According to SI, Ejiofor is the 65th in the NCAA if you were to “conduct a fantasy draft to build a college football team from scratch.”
This isn’t the only pre-season hype that Wake Forest players are getting, as Jessie Bates showed up as the 14th best safety in the country (4th in the ACC), and tight end Cam Serigne appeared as the 9th best tight end in the country.
