Chaundee Brown, Wake Forest’s top 2017 target, begins his official visit to Wake Forest today. ESPN ranks him as the 30th best player in the class, and believes that he is a 4-star prospect. Brown’s stock rose greatly over the summer, and he is a prized recruit. By all accounts, he is now down to Wake Forest and Kansas. There’s a strong case to be made that this is the most important official visit during Danny Manning’s tenure at Wake.
Brown took his official visit to Kansas in early September, but he’s also had coaches from Kansas, including head coach Bill Self, visit him since.
