Former Wake Forest safety Anthony Wooding, Jr. has received an invitation to tryout for the Green Bay Packers. Wooding, Jr. tweeted this information yesterday, and today it was confirmed by Tom Silverstein, who is a Packers beat writer for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This news was further confirmation of Wake's excellent secondary last season. On Thursday, former Wake Forest corner Kevin Johnson was drafted 16th overall, and on Saturday former Wake corner Merrill "Bud" Noel signed a free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills.
