The world of A.C.C. football got a little surreal Tuesday. News started emerging from Winston-Salem that one of its own, Tommy Elrod, has been providing game prep material to Wake Forest opponents since 2014. Elrod is a Wake Forest alum. He played for the Deacons from 1993-1997. He was an assistant coach, and now, resident Benedict Arnold. Why the radio broadcaster would betray his alma mater is unclear, but we will keep you posted as further details emerge.

Collegefootballtalk.com was one of several outlets reporting the story. Elrod was employed by the IMG radio network, and has since been terminated.
