VT Football Recruiting: OL Christian Darrisaw Commits to Hokies

The Virginia Tech Hokies were able to land another recruit for their 2017 class on Tuesday evening, as 6’5″, 290 lbs. offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw out of Riverdale Baptist in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, verbally committed to the Hokies.

Darrisaw is the third offensive lineman to verbally commit to the Hokies as part of their 2017 recruiting class, following commitments from Silas Dzansi from the prep school, Fork Union Military Academy, and three-star prospect Aiden Brown from the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, who committed to the Hokies back in July.

Darrisaw received interest from Connecticut, Purdue, UMass, Rutgers, Wake Forest, and a host of FCS-schools throughout his recruiting process, but Virginia Tech was his only FBS offer, according to 247 Sports.
